The MECVseries of vessels is designed for safe containment and removal of suspect objects possibly containing explosives, toxic or even radioactive materials. The MECVs are gas-tight with possibility to sample and clean gases before they are safely released and also to decontaminate the chamber prior to opening. The MECVs aredesigned to withstand repetitive detonations up to the maximum amount of explosives specified.
The MECVs are used in a vast number of applications involving transport, removal and containment of dangerous objectsby Law Enforcements, First Responders, Military Units, Security Companies,Security OrganizationsandAirports.
The MECV’s whole operating sequence: opening, closing and locking is performed remote controlled by the operator from a safe distance by cable or radio remote control (option). All functions are self propelled by internal rechargeable battery systems.
The MECV´s design is made in a modular way in order to meet different demands in respect to mobility, loading volumeand explosivecontainment capacity.
Severaloptions are available to the MECV series, such as,Heating;an option to destroy anydangerous objectsinside the chamber, TSBC;the capability to decontaminate inside the chamber after toxic contamination. Radiation shielding; A protective layer completely surrounding the chamber enables protection from all kind of radiation. The trailer version can be delivered with a height adjustable tow bar.
