Laser Technology’s IMPULSE is a light－weight, low cost laser for a full range of professional measuring. The Impulse puts the power speed of a laser rangefinder optional tilt sensor into the palm of your h. Simply aim push a button. The Impulse acquires distance or height in less than a second, all without prisms or reflective targets. Add either the MapStar Compass Module or Angle Encoder to the Impulse, point your measurements in a whole new direction!
Now it’s not only economically possible for you to get the fastest laser－sharp measurements ever, it’s also convenient. Reduced size weight make it possible for field workers to operate the Impulse with one h simply clip it onto a belt for quick－access carrying.
The Impulse’s point－－shoot operation serial output communication combine to simplify a number of surveying mapping tasks. These include: timber cruising, mine face profiling, GIS data capture, GPS offset mapping, material estimating for job bids, space planning, general distance height measurement.
Impulse 100: Range only
Impulse 200: Range & Inclination
With the Impulse LR, you can range up to:
100m (300ft) to an overhead cable or wooden stake;
200m (600ft) to a stockpile or phone pole;
300m (900ft) to a tree or transmission tower;
500m (1500ft) to a building or rock face.
With the Impulse XL, you can range up to:
800－1000m (2400－3000ft) to a dirt embankment;
1000m (3000ft) to a microwave or transmission tower;
1200－1400m (3600－4200ft) to a tree;
1600－2000m (4800－6000ft) to a building.

RS232 serial output gives you the option to store data externally; data is transferred either automatically or by a manual key press
Built－in electronic filter sees through brush to discriminate reflective targets |
